Kelton Spurgeon
Cellist Kelton Spurgeon was born and raised in the small town of Pineville, Louisiana. At 10 years old, he joined his elementary school orchestra.
Kelton has played with the Northwestern State University Orchestra and The Red River Symphony. He also has performed at Coughlin Saunders and Magale Hall as well as in various religious events all over Louisiana.
In college, Kelton collaborated with many fine musicians such as Paul Christopher and Noah Elkins.
Post-graduation, Kelton led both the Alexandria Senior High Concert and Marching Band and Lift for Life Academy’s Youth Orchestra. He is currently the cello instructor for St. Charles Community
College.
He is offering instruction in Cello, Double Bass, and Bass Guitar
